ImpactEdge Plug-ins are extensions to the functionality in ImpactEdge Professional version and the ImpactEdge Viewer. There are 3 main areas of Plug-ins, Data Sources, Formula Environment Functions and PowerApps.
Data Sources
Out of the box ImpactEdge will request data from more or less any database technology as well as Excel spreadsheets and many other widespread sources of information on the market today.
If your requirement falls outside of the standard connectivity delivered with ImpactEdge then a special purpose Data Source can be designed and developed. A special purpose Data Source could for example cover a legacy system with proprietary connectivity.
Formula Environment Functions
ImpactEdge comes with more than 170 commonly used functions. If your organisation has a requirement for more specific functions, these can be integrated into ImpactEdge through the Formula Environment extensibility.
PowerApps
ImpactEdge PowerApps are mini-applications that integrate into ImpactEdge and benefit from the Data Sources and Formula Environment. Because ImpactEdge PowerApps have a user interface there really is no limit to the functionality that can be plugged into ImpactEdge. You can develop your own PowerApps or let our skilled software development team develop the PowerApp for you.
